We just wanted to let you know about an exciting new website that has just launched called www.unforgettable.org/ which aims to improve the lives of those living with memory loss and dementia by bringing together specialised products, practical advice and a supportive community. It is done in conjunction with the Alzheimer’s Society and 10% of their profits will go to the Unforgettable Foundation.
The three main areas of this new website is to provide:
- Advice through many different avenues: unforgettable.org/advice/
- Shopping for relevant dementia products: unforgettable.org/shop
- Community forum, blog and articles: unforgettable.org/community/
They also have produced some useful product guides which are designed to help you find the right products to tackle the many challenges of dementia and improve quality of life. The aim is to make it easier for carers to discover products that really help and for product and service providers to reach carers at home.
Unforgettable.org have partnered up with Adaptawear to provide adapted clothing tailored to suit people with dementia. Here is a link to the clothing section on their shopping part of their website: www.unforgettable.org/clothing to see the dementia clothing range.
