Dementia Awareness Week

Dementia Awareness WeekNext week is Dementia Awareness Week (18th – 24th May 2014). Over at the Alzheimer’s Society they are doing a great job of educating everyone on the causes and symptoms of Alzheimer’s and Dementia, which include memory loss, confusion, mood changes and difficulty with day-to-day tasks.

Next week the Alzheimer’s Society will be running different fundraising events to help raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s and Dementia. Please check their website to find out the ways you can get involved.

It’s MS Awareness Week

It’s MS Awareness Week this week (28th April – 04th May 2014). Over at The Multiple Sclerosis Society they believe knowledge is power and so do we!  The MS Society have been working hard to raise awareness of Multiple Sclerosis. There are various ways to get involved in helping to raise awareness including requesting an MS Pack, which includes a wrist band, shopping bag and a sticker for your car. The MS Trust 21 Challenge gives you 21 ways in 21 days to raise awareness and funds and make a difference for everyone affected by MS. As well as the Be Bold In Blue fundraiser and more!
